Mario and Blanca are amazing people. We stayed for 2 nights and felt at home. The roof top terrace is great for wine that you can purchase in the lobby. The beds are comfortable, clean and very modern but in an old building. Breakfast is great and every recommendation they made for food and entertainment was wonderful.

A big and warm THANK YOU to Blanca and Mario. We immediately felt home when we arrived. We even got invited for a lovely Christmas dinner equadorian style with their family which we will never forget. The hotel is just awesome, from the spacious and super clean rooms to all the small details of that traditional building. We definetaly can recommend this place without any doubt and already promised to come back. Thanks again Blanca & Mario

Back from this lovely property just over a week ago. Three really enjoyable nights. Really lovely room in a quirky building full of character (as is the wonderful Mario !). Great breakfasts. Edging the historic old town - don't be put off by the exterior of the building or the street it's on - it's a gem of a place. Only minor negative was a bit of traffic noise from about 0600 (but it's a busy city !) Mario could not have been more helpful with arranging excursions, getting us taxis when required, and taking care of every need. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My husband and I went to Ecuador for our honeymoon. We were in and out of Quito and each time we stayed in Quito we stayed at Casa El Eden. The B&B is beautiful, cozy, and the breakfasts are incredible. Mario and his wife are so sweet, so friendly, and so helpful. The are both so warm and welcoming and care about making each of their guests feel at home (and they love to help people practice their Spanish). At one point, we arrived back from Cotopaxi late at night, cold, and wet and they welcomed us in, found us a room, and served us to tea to warm us up. I cannot say enough about how great Casa El Eden was. If I am back in Ecuador, I would never consider staying anywhere else.

My wife and I are in our mid thirties. We wanted a comfortable, upscale place with some local character. We stayed for two nights. Casa Eden was what we where looking for but at the same time surprised us by exceeding our expectations. The decoration and renovations show genuine character unique to Quito without trying too hard. The owners are so helpful and genuinely care that you have a good stay and good time in their city. They recommended an excellent guide named Carlos who also cared and was very knowledgeable. He took us to some great tourist spots like Cotopaxi Volcano which he had summited many times. He also took us to spots tourists don't usually get to see. Breakfast was simple but high quality. The location was ideal.

This is a really nice hotel. The entry door does not look like much but once you're inside, wow! There's an inside courtyard that's really nice and the rooms are modern. Breakfast is included and amazing! They always have fresh fruit, make eggs the way you like it, and different types of bread. And the hosts are very accommodating with any special requests like asking for the breakfast to go. Would definitely stay here again!

The host Mario is very welcoming. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are very well done (clean and modern). A great introduction into Ecuador.
