I stayed here for 3 weeks. It was very clean and quiet. I liked the large seating area where I could read or use my laptop. The rooms are nice with a fair amount of space and the bathrooms are clean. The employees there were very helpful and spoke enough English to answer some questions. (Knowing some Spanish is always helpful.) The area outside the hostel is safe. I never felt threatened in any way. There are a lot of restaurants near by and a large park a few kilometers south. Everything is very easy to walk to and if you don't want to walk, just take a bus for 25 cents. Overall, my time at the hostel and in Quito was great.
I was visiting my friend who is staying here... there is a nice kitchen and a cozy living room.. it is also located in a safe nice neighborhood which is close to everything..
I stayed in this hostel for one month. It’s clean, cozy with a lot of common space you can sit and have your own time. There is a big book shelf in sitting area which is full of books!! The staff are polite and always happy to help. The location is good. You will be having easy access to nearest shopping mall (Quicentro) and Carolina park which are 10 minutes away. I will be definitely staying there again if I happen to be in Quito!
Stayed here for two nights back in 2017. Loved the place. There's access to a common kitchen, facilities are always neat. I have bad allergies whenever I go to Quito, but I suffered none while staying there.
I stayed this hostel for 3 days, and it was awesome! The staff always wanted to help me out when I had some problems. There was a safety door in front, and so it was pretty safe to stay. You can also get around the city pretty easily by using public transportation, which is less than 5 min away. Nice place and nice people there!
This small hostal is run by a young family that have been extremely friendly and generous with me. It is also the cheapest place in the neighborhood: 25/night for a single room or 10/night for a bed in the dormitory. The street is quiet and you won't be disturb by the traffic. Highly recommended!
However this is not a very comfortable hostel. It's a place that has cheap rates and is situated in the best place in Quito...Do not stay in the historical central Quito.
