Magic! I highly recommend! We had the biggest room with a large terrace; offering sublime views over the little town and sea. Great host, excellent service and everyday varying breakfast.

I don't recommend the place at all. The room was stinky and there was dirt all over the place. We found a roach in the bathroom. We didn't want the offered breakfast becuase of the lack of cleaning. The only good thing about it was the view of the sea from the hill it is located at. Once in place you feel disapointed as it is not the same as what you get by the pictures.
The hosts are very nice and speak english fluently. I can also recommend the dinner! We had very nice fish for 9. The room was huge and the view from the balcony is stunning.
We booked a suite with two bedrooms for two nights. When we got their the manager told us that her employees booked the suite we had reserved a few nights before through air bnb but that she had two rooms available. We looked at the rooms and one of the rooms had four beds in it in the basement. It smelled of mold and dust. When asked if we could stay in our original suite she said no bc it was already rented out. We reserved this place back in July and they decided to rent it to other for the same dates a few days earlier. We ended up not staying in their moldy basement and found a much better place. Would never reserve anything here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Maremonti. Nice big rooms and bathrooms and an incredible view of the city. The breakfast was very good but we found out at checkout that it was not free (we were charged 3.50 per person per day). This was not clear when we booked. The owner is a very sweet Italian man but there is not much organization here. There doesn’t seem to really be any reception, you just kind of have to look around until you find him. We had a lot of confusion at checkout about the cost of our stay and he didn’t really seem to have a clear answer for us. You also don’t get wifi in the rooms, but it’s pretty good on the balcony. The pool would have been nice but it was not very clean and didn’t look like it had been used in awhile. Overall, a very nice place but you do need to take a moto-taxi (1) to get back because it’s at the top of a hill.
Excellent people, excellent view, excellent food. Excellent price.
Hippy is not dirty
Un lugar recomendable por la hospitalidad, el desayuno fue muy rico, el lugar es increíble. Nos hicieron sentir muy bien. Gracias por crear un lugar mágico en puerto lopez.
