Great way to see the city. You can stop where you like and see more of the Old Town or the New Town, and also they get to the Panecillo for a great view of the city. Highly recommended!
I did three different tours with this company and highly recommend them. I think they are reasonably priced, staffed with pleasant folks who do their best and professional. Especially Andrea, who guided us to Otavalo was excellent. They also engage local indigenous guides, which I thought was especially positive. I took the tour to Otavalo on Saturday and Cotopaxi on Sunday. Both had other stops and we spent the right amount of time in each place. The other was the city tour, which is on your own time, as it’s a hop on- hop off and it was always on time and as advertised. I was staying close to the Plaza Foch, so it was easy to just walk up to the ticket office there and buy my tickets daily. Especially for the Cotopaxi tour, I didn’t want to buy the ticket early just in case I didn’t feel like climbing in that altitude! (But I did).
I took several tours with Quito bus tour. I also did the all day quito tour on the double decker bus. The tour guides are great and I learned so much history and culture. The service is convenient and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Excellent choice, service tours and tour guides, have been several times and every time is awesome.
We aren't really tour people, but this was an easy way to get around Quito and to reach the middle of the world. The prices are affordable and reasonable for their tours. Informative, fun, and relaxing. They have different types of tours - we enjoy the two we took and wished we had more time to do the others. The guide always helped us with restaurant recommendations or info on what to do when we wanted to hop off.
Fantastic way to see the city. Its hop on hop off and makes stops in some really cool places. Grab your hat and sunscreen and give it a ride!
The old town/Basilico portion was interesting and exciting. How they maneuver that giant bus through those narrow streets is a wonder. The El Panecillo/Virgin of the Apocalypse statue was the highlight of our tour.
