Wonderful place to go and see this historic things of Ecuador from animals to the area and how’s the homes and the agricultural sectors began and have changed over the years. The entire park is free and has many places to eat and snack along with a beautiful hotel and historic church all inside the park.

Small yet very well laid out grounds for a nice walk. This place is great for kids, families, or couples. I would recommend going with a guide to learn more, but overall this was a great stop in our day in Guyaquil.

We had a free day before an evening flight and this was recommended to us. It has a zoo, a farm, historic buildings that have been moved to this location and some stalls, places to eat and the chance of a boat ride and more. We went in the hope of getting a better view of a sloth and were not disappointed. We were told you could walk round the park in 2 hours but if you stop to watch the animals. (Some are very watchable)it takes longer. The boat ride wasnt up to much and not worth the 10 we suspect we were overcharged. It was nice to see so many locals there. Obviously it's a popular place to take the children at the weekend. There is a playground and lots to see and do for kids too.

The parque is CLOSED due to the pandemic but they don’t find it necessary to put this information online anywhere. I don’t get these people here.

Very nice and well kept park with some animals. The access is free so it's a very good place to go with kids. There is also a hotel and an inexpensive restaurant.

Gorgeous peace of nature just across from the big busy and loud city. It’s a little piece of peace that stand out for it’s superb and perfect maintained facilities. It’s always shaded so the temperature is always bearable. I like to take all visitors there before they fly back to their home countries. Leaves an impressive last impression of Guayaquil. Not just the Zoo, but the museums and the reconstruction of some historic houses and scenes. A must see !!

My favorite part of this park is the renovated historic houses on the river. It is interesting to see the architectural details. Free entry, but check the hours before you arrive. Give yourself at least 2 hours to see everything.
