Beautiful hotel in Banos. The hot bath are healing and so relaxing and the food at the restaurant is great. I wished I would have booked for more then two nights. The entire property is beautiful and they grow there own organic plants to feed you with at the restaurant. Five stars
Totally amazing. Me and my then girlfriend (now fiancee) spent a marvelous day and night. Massage session, jacuzzi, food, views. Everything was perfect.
Hotel is without doubt in a beautiful location - high up in mountains, amongst the clouds with a spectacular view of Baños and surrounding scenery. However, our experience involved cold water in the morning for shower, a long hair at the bottom of one of our cocktails, and a quite average dinner. All made known to the staff, and not much of an effort to rectify (which you expect for the price of around 300/night).
This hotel is about 15 minutes from the center of Baños, and you reach it along an uphill road that seems to never end, and which in the end it takes you 400 meters higher. The hotel consists of a series of one / two-storey buildings distributed in a garden with lush plants and colorful flowers: in one building there is the reception, in another restaurant, in another the spa, in others the various rooms, and so on. One morning we spent almost an hour walking through the various buildings to admire the plants and flowers. On an outcrop of rock overlooking Baños (and therefore with an exceptional panorama) there is the area with swimming pool and whirlpools with water of various temperatures. It is magnificent to swim at sunset "dominating" the entire valley from above. We slept in the imperial suite installed above the hydromassage area, an overhanging valley. The suite had a living room with kitchenette, a room with two large beds and a double bedroom. There were two bathrooms; the master one had a gigantic hot tub. It was practically as large as our usual home. However, the most important aspect that deserves to be remembered are the huge windows overlooking the valley and the surrounding mountains. Swimming pools and whirlpools are prohibited for children under 6 years. We did not understand whether the ban depends on medical reasons is linked to the risks of sulphurous hot water for children, or if the hotel management simply prefers to avoid the chaos resulting from the presence of children. The spa, with sauna and massage area, is located in a building exactly across the hotel complex from the swimming pools and whirlpools.
The view from the pool is very romantic.its a top of the mountain swimming pool.hot bath and thermal bath is available.good views and environment.pool attendant and staff are not fast and there seems too much work for them.food and drinks can order here.rate is very high and people visit specially for the curicity of the view of the city.pass time is perfect here.its a romantic place. Parking is available inside the hotel.its a natural and calm environment.
This place is awesome. We met the owners daughter and she was really nice. We went there for lunch and the food was outstanding . I ordered the ternera en salsa de champiñones. It was the best dish out of the 12 of us. All the dishes were good.
Amazing property with some of the best views of Banos. The rooms are stunning. Buffet is quite small but good food.
