Worst experience of my time traveling to Exuador, the rooms smells like s* unbearable smell coming from the bathroom dirty. They didn’t have heater, on top of that unfriendly, rude and not welcoming staff. Did I a bad experience. Will never come back

The owner should really rehired the staff! They were so rude and not helpful at all.
A perfect place to start discovering Cuenca. The rooms have a good size and the employees are nice too. The view from some rooms is quite amazing.
Location and building is nice, big rooms. Staff is difficult and not helpful. Rooms are not well equipped.
Spectacular location on the corner of the most prominent plaza in Cuenca, walking distance to everything in town. The balcony overlooks the Cathedral and bustling Simón Bolívar street. Very romantic! We felt like royalty in the corner suite with double beds. The room is spacious with high ceilings and a separate living area. Beautiful, classic decor with old world charm, along with modern conveniences like wifi and an ultra modern shower. The staff is very courteous and helpful. We checked our luggage early and they helped us carry it up the stairs to our room. 3 flights of stairs with no elevator is the only down side if you need accessibility. This hotel was even nicer than we expected, especially at the value. Highly recommend!
Great location and the rooms are large. With a separate kitchen and dining area. This location is right in the heart of downtown. There are a ton of restaurants, bars, and shops close by. You can walk to everything you need. It is a very safe area. The rooms have no heating or air. This was not an issue when we were there. We were told that they are never needed. You need to be aware that there is no front desk. The hotel and restaurant share the same front door. That means if you are going to be out late or need to leave early in the morning you need to coordinate with the staff at the restaurant. When it is closed the front doors are locked. We never had an issue. You should also know that since the hotel is at the main square it is rather loud. The windows and doors do nothing to block out the noise. I wore earplugs every night. However I tend to be a light sleeper.
Incredibly large room with small kitchenette, big balcony and right in the middle of the historical center. Premium rooms have better view of cathedral.
Very cute. Right at the corner of the park. Nice view of the park from the balcony and I did not have a corner room. Spanish colonial style. Attentive staff. Very clean. Very modestly priced. Based on the price I paid I rate it 5 stars but I imagine if you pay 40 for a hotel in the area you could get something quite a bit nicer/more upscale, but likely not as well located.
