Great place to grocery shop. Had all the basics you need for a good price. Downside: tons of people and I wasn't allowed to bring backpack in. They have lockers to put backpacks in though. I don't think I'd feel comfortable being there at night, but I will go back.

Cuencanos tend to prefer this department store. Many restaurants come here to buy staples like rice and sugar. They feel that the prices are the best For me, the prices seemed like those at Coral. And, the aisles were quite narrow. Worth a trip to form your own opinion based on what you buy.
