Very nice deli. You can find things you wouldn’t even dream of. It’s expensive though and it’s usually full. Went there for a hot chocolate and it was exquisite. Really good coffee and if you have a sweet tooth for baked goodies you will definitely enjoy their cafeteria. I’m dying to try their salty dishes.

I loved this place. Great selection of pastries, beverages, breads, sandwiches, wines, you name it! Totally recommend it!
If you re a foodie that is your place either to find good quality products for cooking experience or to try their dishes.
Good coffee, nice tasty cakes and sandwiches, good service in the cafe Traviesa. The deli has a good overpriced (no surprise with all restrictions to imports and lack of competition for these products in Ecuador) selection of meats, cheeses selections are very small (standard in the country) and a few other bits and pieces you won't find in Quito like foie gras but at ridiculous high prices.
Be careful, they do not know what vegan means.
Amazing food! Unique flavors. If you are searching for something new in Quito, besides regular international food, then this is your place. Good price for what you get. Service could be better.
This place is one of my all-time favorites among places to go, sit quietly, have exceptionally good coffee and an elegant dessert. Servers are lovely people who perform expertly and, like people everywhere, respond well to being appreciated. Menu is limited but I have enjoyed their sandwiches, pizzas and house wine. The DATU deli is exceptional; offered are a wide selection of meats, seafood, cheeses, wines, breads to name a few. The assortment of imported products is amazing. Label readers will be impressed. Fresh produce is displayed to great advantage and there are frozen products as well. All staffers are welcoming and very competent and unfailingly pleasant and helpful. DATU is quite new but even so the dine-in area has been remodeled so the the kitchen now is visible through a sizable glassed-in wall. One side of the dining room is open air. Beyond the dining space at the back of the building is a large room dedicated to selling high-end barbeque grills and accessories and such. Even more recently, a small outdoor eating area has been added. Go there if you can.
As described this is a gourmet deli, you can find unique products but be ready to pay for it! I highly recommend the bread and coffee, I didnt like too much the food on the menu, but its for sure a good place to chill
