**BE AWARE OF THEIR SCAMS AND RIP OFFS**Worst Car rental company ever. I made a reservation with a month and half before my trip. The schedule pick up time was 18:15. However due to customs and covid restrictions I arrived at their counter at 18:30. When I identify myself. She said I was 15 min late and they no longer had a car available and my reservation had been cancelled. I checked every other agency in the airport and because it was a weekend with a high demand they were renting the cars at much higher rate than what people had made reservations. I kindly asked the lady at the Europcar Rental to please call me the next day and let me know they had any cars available. After 11am and still no phone call I decided to take a trip to the airport again and see what was going on. When she saw my face she was surprised because she knew she never called me, neither she made an attempt to facilitate the car rental. She just answered they didnt have any cars available. After 3 times of asking her the same question she then tells me they have one car available. Indeed she had a car available yet the most expensive one in the rental categories. Honestly I didnt care because I was in a foreign country and needed a vehicle to move around no matter what. To my surprise while I was at their counter 2 other people came to find out that there was also no cars for them, even so after paying for the reservation. HOW MESSED UP IS THAT! According to her unless the reservation is not within 48 to 72 hours they cannot see it on the system. So I realized they are just a rip off and a scam of a company that lets you make reservations and cannot honor them, so instead they can get you with a more expensive car. The car was disgusting and very old. The service a complete fiasco and my reason to posting this review is so that they stop being shady with people that come to visit such an amazing country like ECUADOR. Never again will i Use this company they suck big time.

My company did not book the best option possible, but the customer service was beyond great with me, attending all my needs and doubts. You could even do everything trough WhatsApp from the hotel, now in this time it was key. No doubt, i would again book with them

My partner rented a car with Europcar at the Aorport of Guayaquil. We booked online in advance with a broker wich saved us a lot of money. Service online was perfect, we received all paperwork instantly. Service at desk bit slow, could be improved. Car was good and new. We had no problems.

Avoid if you can. Bad service. They didn’t have the car I had rented and gave me a lower rate one (without giving me any discount). Not intention to fix my problem. They were just: “we don’t have your car” and that was that. Days later they finally got me the car I was supposed to get but it was dirty, and frankly, old. It doesn’t have the right seatbelts for a child seat. Worse rental car experience in years
