Hans and his staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The German food was absolutely outstanding and a surprise to find an Ecuador but we are super happy that we did. Great selection of main courses, German beers, and of course desserts. Great wide open area overlooking the lake while you're having lunch adds to unique experience that everybody should check out when you're in town. I absolutely recommend it and we'll be going back for sure.

This camp was awesome. We were accommodated in comfortable cottage with a great view on the lake. In the garden you can find avocados, limes, fiks, mandarines or even a coffee plants. There is a horse named Texas, so make sure to give him an apple and a hug, because he is super friendly. If you are an adventure traveller, you will appreciate what you can get there. I highly recommend this place.

Nice place, if you miss a bit the European summer or spring, here you can have a recall of it enjoying beer of course being a beer garden, also some Wienerschnitzel, or a bratwurst. Nice weather, just bring your mosquito repellent please. The German owner is friendly and explain al the amenities available there. Kids friendly, so great to go with friends of family!!

Wonderful place, Hans is super friendly and a wealth of information. Showers are hot and clean, potable water available and the wifi is strong. Lovely location too, couldn't fault this place it's a beacon of light.

We had a great time at Finca Sommerwind. Hans is a super nice and helpful host and the place is a must for any overlander in south america. Not to forget the great curry wurst that is served in the Biergarten.
