Fundación La Iguana is a non-profit organization based in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Our purpose is to combat global warming working to make our cities more sustainable and its citizens more environmentally conscious. Our signature initiative "Sembrando Una Ciudad" (Planting a City) aims to plant one million native trees in Ecuador by 2020 to make cities more livable and safe for our children. We plant native trees to reclaim and preserve the roots of our cities, working alongside with municipalities, private sector and local communities. Fundación La Iguana es una organización sin fines de lucro ubicada en Guayaquil, Ecuador. Nuestro propósito es combatir el calentamiento global para hacer nuestras ciudades más sostenibles y sus ciudadanos más conscientes sobre los temas ambientales. Nuestra iniciativa principal, Sembrando Una Ciudad, tiene como meta sembrar un millón de árboles en Ecuador hasta el año 2020 para hacer las ciudades más habitables y seguras para nuestros hijos. Sembramos árboles nativos para recuperar y preservar las raíces de nuestras ciudades, trabajando en conjuntos con municipios, sector privados y comunidades locales.
