I emailed them twice and never got a response. I decided to call and successfully set up a meeting. Showed up at the time and place and no one showed up despite confirming the day before of the appointment. Very unprofessional, I called and messaged yet never got an answer again. I suggest using one of the other many visa services in town. Also should note most visa services in Quito are for Ecuadorians trying to leave, while most in Cuenca are for foreigners trying to get an Ecuador visa.

Very knowledgable and helpful. I was especially impressed with their honesty and transparency though when I asked about a tourist visa extension. They told me how to do it myself and that it was so easy it didn't make any sense for me to pay them!

Through all the problems with Covid, Government shut downs, and communicating by email, the staff here were friendly prompt and professional at all times. Not having to fight our way through Government red tape with limited Spanish made the modest cost of their services a real bargain. We couldn't be happier!

UPDATE..I'M not from India and I'm a female. You posted the same comment on another review. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY in my opinion. Was very short with me when I asked her about bringing a taser instead of being professional and quoting actual law. Told me her only job was to get my visa yet went on Amelia and JP to talk gun laws for free to drum up business. She couldn't answer my one question as a paying client yet did that to help herself.. Also kept asking for things I already gave her, didn't even know what was in our contract and during the virus told me the government would honor expired documents then changed it and tried to push me to file when the country was still in lock down. Please notice that many of her good reviews were done in the same month and the others seem to be locals that probably didn't even use her services so ask for proof. I believe she either asked people to give her good reviews or something else is going on as all her other reviews are like mine. Today she sent me a letter I consider threatening just because I was upset over her now saying the expired documents may be a problem. I had heard she has sued Expats before and have proof of that conversation from a long time expat there. So hire at your own risk

I contacted Gringo Visas while still in the states and from the moment of contact with Sole and others, I received great communication. Even after all was complete I still message Sole directly with any questions or concerns and I get a reply almost immediately. This was a stress free and professional experience which is worth paying for. I will continue to use Gringo Visas and I recommend them to everyone.

Maite and Santiago were very professional and answered all our visa questions. They can do a turnkey visa application from start to finish.

We hired Gringo Visas while in the United States to do both our visas and cedulas for Ecuador. The process was long and complicated, but when we went to get our visas, we got them right away, no problems. Then we went to Cuenca and met with them to get our cedulas. They were organized and professional. We received our cedulas on our first visit. We are happy they led us through this so quickly.

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!! First my visa process, they told me it would cost 150 dollars for a visa. They said I would get a 1 year special tourist visa. Then they decided to up the price to an extra 350 dollars on top of the price of the visa (which is only 400 dollars) because it was a special visa. They told me they would do all of the work. They would go to to immigration and everything. No, last minute they tell me I have to go to my appointment which is three hours away for me. Okay that is fine. When I finally receive my visa, it is only for 180 days. I ask them what happened with my visa, why is it only 180 days? "Oh, there are no visas for one year." I was completely scammed and lied to. Never use this company!!
