I didn't expect such a nice airport, but this one definitely exceeded my expectations! It's super clean. There are lots of souvenir shops and restaurant options. Everyone here is really friendly. I like it.

We flew Copa on October 12 from GYE to PTY without issue. Airport was very empty and very clean. Not many stores open yet so food options are limited. 20 will get you crazy drunk though, haha, see pictures. Overall a good first trip since pandemic began and hopefully more to come!

Horrible airport . Everbody was on time for their flight , they delayed it once ... things happen but then again ... BUT if you don’t have the app you will get THE RUN AROUND .... THEY WILL TELL YOU CALL YOUR AIRLINE And LET THEM HANDLE IT . I TRAVELED THE WORLD And always for ACCOMMODATIONS IF IT WASNT MY FAULT . 15 CLIENTS ARE STRANDED . SOME WITH ONLY 100 DOLLARS IN THERE BANK ACCOUNT . TRAVEL INTO QUITO NOT GUAYQUIL , THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER!!! And I’m FROM ECUADOR !!!!

Nicely built airport with good people around, Appreciative of your frequent announcements but it’s very disruptive. Please treat your passengers as adults. If they do not take note of the flight time, they should not be traveling until they are old enough to read the time. Recommend to travel there but language could be an issue. Happy journey

Next time, I will not fly through Guyaquil. Staff is nit helpful, rather rude. There is a VIP Club, but will not allow my first class American Airline seat enternace to lounge.. its late and no food avail, ad they won't let me in.

Best airport I’ve been too during our trip to Ecuador and Peru. Sooo clean, easy to navigate and all the indoor plants make for a lovely peaceful experience, something all too rare in an airport! Even international immigration had a green wall and (finally) a decent sized line! Airport food was really well priced too!

BLAND AND NORMAL, AS FAR AS I CAN TELL. Not the most modern airport in the world. Not the shabbiest airport in the world. It stands somewhere closer to the shabby side. Clean halls with plenty of light and cafes and restaurants inside the terminal while you wait for your flight or are seeing someone off. The problem with the airport: it doesn’t offer free Wi-Fi at booking terminals, and this is so essential. Most airports around the world offer at least an hour of Free Wi-Fi. Not here. You have to purchase something at one of the cafes or restaurants and use their private Wi-Fi. And, Guayaquil itself is not an appealing city to begin with. Its waterways are dirty, nasty brown water that can be seen for miles.
