An important moment in Ecuadorian history is symbolized in this monument. It's on the Malecon 2000 riverfront walk which is very pleasant to walk along.

Nice place early morning or evening to walk around and just observe the river or the crazy bustling city. Lots of space. There are bathrooms and parking area. Also, just outside there are lots of buses and taxis. Security guards are always around.
If you're a visitor to Guayaquil, you must walk along the Malecon! Its a beautiful waterfront with tons to see and do. We stoped in Guayaquil for an afternoon/evening before heading to the Galapagos and we are so glad we were able to explore this area!
Good to see as one walks along the riverside. It marks the moment two South American liberators meet in Guayaquil
Also is in the malecón 2000.its main center point to start walking for malecón. Many people take photo in this place and it's memorable place to take photo.
This touristic attraction can be visited during day or night; however, at night it will be a better time because is less crowded, and the whole area is illuminated nicely.
Malecón 2000 is a great place for chatting and walking while seeing one of Guayaquil's best face. It is at the heart of the city.
Historical point of the Malecón. Very picturesque
