Very friendly owner and staff. The hotel itself is wonderful. There is a pleasant terrace with lush vegetation. A fully equipped kitchen, area to wash clothes, strong wifi. The rooms are very clean as well as the bathrooms and common spaces. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel seeing that many other hotels are quite run down.

The room, office, and rooftop garden area were very clean and well maintained. There is s super helpful and friendly staff. 24 hour front desk and very cordial security arrangements. This was a wonderful place to stay and the Kingdom Hall next door makes for excellent neighbors. Only one block from a beautiful 4-square block city park with food, groceries and anything you could possibly want to supplement your stay here. We will definitely be back when in Guayaquil.
The room was big, clean, the bathroom as well clean. Space to organize your stuff. The terraza is very nice. It is located near the Malecon, they ha ve also beer to sell. The staff was kind and explained well everything. Was great. :)
Very clean hotel, they have done a great job renovating a lot of their rooms, we had one of the top floor ones, and it was very spacious and clean. you can notice the finishing touches in their rooms, like paint jobs and decorative designs on walls and ceilings. Price is reasonable and it's basically two blocks away from 9 de octubre boulevard.
Rooms were super clean and quiet. Price was ok for two. Air conditioning, TV and customer service was good.
Unreliable hot water. Location okay. Inside is above average. Internet usable. Could be a touch cheaper for what you get.
We stayed total of 3 days, 2 days before Galapagos, and one after. The night before our trip, we had some laundry done. Next morning , before our flight to the Galapagos, some of our staff was still wet. We asked if there was a dryer, but the front desk assured us we can leave our clothes hanging on the terrace, and he or one of the maids will take it down the next day and put it together with our luggage. And he was quiet convinsing that it would be safe. Well guess what? We come back from Galapagos, and there is no sign of our staff. In fact, they made fools out of us, and the front desk assured us, that we never told him anything!!! In fact, he didn't even know tourists can hang their clothing outside. Oh what a surprise, he was the one who showed the place where to wash and dry our things. PLEASE, stay away from that place. Situations like that really show how much they care about their clients, and how they can promise you anything, just so you get out of their face, never intending to keep the promise. We spoke with the owner, 2 front desks, and the maids. None of them even SAW our cloth hanging there, and not once did we hear an apology! Not from the owner, not from Jose front desk. DO NOT GO THERE! The hostal is much overprices as is, and you can find much nicer hostals around the few blocks that will treat you with respect! P.S. And maybe we would't care as much, but they stole 3 of the most expensive peaces of our luggage. 2 smartwool Merino long sleeve sweaters ( to those of you who know, them sweaters are darn expensive ) and the nicest Calvin Klein leggings my wife had. Total value around 300.
Small, kinda ghetto, but cheap
