I’m very sad that I did not take photos of the interior of this charming hotel restaurant. In fact, the photo here only shows the least appealing (though not unappealing) section of the outer room, whereas the inner room incorporates an old, restored space with exposed beams and a lovely high ceiling. Our food was excellent, the service received was the most attentive we have received anywhere in Quito, and was highly professional and genuine. Unfortunately, we have experienced only the breakfasts—so delicious and reasonable that we returned three times—but even the special requests made to the kitchen we’re always and consistently attended to with “spot on” attention.
