I guess I went there at a rush time and witha huge bunch of people tho, but the ladies that were taking care of us confused all our meals and drinks, I would like the restaurant to have their own bathroom tho or at least a sink to wash our hands.

The right place, the right food!... This place is wonderful! Excellent dishes and delicious food!. Nice environment, the good service talks by itself!...it also has a place for children very clean, secure and safe for them!. Children's menu, many different things to try..I love this place!. The price is just right for the good quality and service!...

Good food. But, Service really needs work. Servers will take a very long time to assist you taking your order and to give you the check even when the restaurant is empty. Also Pancakes taste like just another bread

The potato soup (locro) was very nice. The fish (corvina con menestra) was bland and oily. Service was rather slow. If I could rate 2.5 stars, I would.

Vaco y Vaca is a delightful place to eat. There is more than one location including a suburban store near Machachi, Ecuador, and another in El Bosque, a nice shopping mall in Pichincha, Quito. There may be others. Both serve a varied and delicious menu of generously sized dishes that includes some traditional Ecuadorian cuisine. Servers are very efficient and they help make customers feel glad they came. The dining experience at Vaco y Vaca is consistently enjoyable. Definitely, it is a place to visit. Sunday afternoon at the suburban location probably will require some waiting for a table. It's worth the wait.

I've been coming here for over 20 years and it's pretty good, but nothing amazing. It's Ecuador's version of a diner.
