This was a real great experience. Happy to learn about one of Ecuador’s most influential artists. A real treat. Cost to enter is 8/adult in August of 2018. Close enough to the botanical gardens to walk there on foot. If you’re an art lover this is a must see.

Respected artist, one of the best in South America. everyone should visit his museum.
Brilliant museum in the artist's former home on a hill overlooking Quito. The highlight of the visit was a video of him at work in his studio, where we were standing, painting the portrait hanging on the wall behind us. It was like he had just left before we arrived.
I just loved learning about this prominent artist!! The museum is filled with his great artwork and his house is a must see too!

Definitely should be on the Quito must see list ahead of some of the churches and squares - the house and art work is stunning. Good view of the city too
