Ohana was the perfect place to start my travel through South America as I was able to learn Spanish basics that turned out to be so necessary for the rest of my journey. I loved each person on the team and I left feeling like I had a bunch of new friends. We shared so much during that month that I stayed, from partying, surfing, practicing yoga, and short trips to amazing spots on the coast. I also really enjoyed the scenery of the hotel where I could enjoy a quiet day at the pool (which has the best view in all Montanita) after a big night out! Because yes... Montanita has the best night life in Ecuador. When staying for a month to study Spanish I highly recommend staying in a place where you can escape from the craziness of the town to relax... and Ohana is the best spot to do so!!!

The views and location were a remarkable place to get away from the city and learn something new about myself. Through yoga, spanish, and surfing the staff treats its customers like family. Highly recommend!
Ohana is simply the perfect place to learn and enjoy Montañita at best. Located in an amazing area of the town is easily accessible and close to the beach. Miguel and Yayi treated us like family and were absolutely on top with spanish classes, surf, yoga, and some good party time. We loved it there and hopefully we will go back there sooner or later!!! :)
I came to Ohana Language School stressed and tired, but left rejuvenated and happy. Ohana has been the travel experience I measure all others against, and so far they have all come up short. Very nice bright room, well designed bathroom, easy to find once you enter Montañita. Hotel premises are very nice, with great pool area and yoga deck. Good food quality, great service. Totally positive feedback I recommend anyone travelling in South America to visit this hidden gem.
Everything about the experience is incredible! I could not believe how quickly my Spanish progressed in my short time at Ohana. The staff really catered to my individual needs and made sure I got the most out of my time there. Also the waves and beach are great, the location is second to none and the town provides a true South American experience. It is an incredible place to learn and then get to use your classroom skills a minute away in town. Hope to get an opportunity to come back soon! Ohana truly felt like my Ecuadorian family!
I had the trip of a life time when I stayed at the Ohana Language School! Awesome and friendly staff made the experience so unique and customized. I traveled with 4 friends and there was an activity for everyone. From surfing to yoga to salsa lessons, everyone found something they loved. Will definitely be coming back for the food, infinity pool, and amazing staff!
I had a amazing time at Ohana! Montañita is vibrant town with incredible waves that are perfect for any surfer! The accommodations are fantastic and the staff of Ohana are so accommodating and fun! Spanish class with Miguel is great; he is a incredible teacher. I really enjoyed my stay here, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Spanish/Surf/Yoga emersion experience in Ecuador.
I have only good things to say about Ohana Spanish school - the teacher is the top one - Miguelito is not only very professional but fun and patient too! Also, for me was perfect that I could have individual classes according my timetable! So, good luck everyone studying Spanish here and enjoy Montanita! ;) :*
