If you enjoy delicious breakfast, like Erin & I do, then you’re going to love Hay Pan! We had the dish called Huevos Del Chef accompanied by chocolatene croissant style pastry. The main dish was scrambled eggs topped with cheddar, cured bacon & avocado. This all was stacked on a house made soft bun. To wash it down, Erin had the pineapple, ginger, honey juice, and, of course, I had a couple lattes. We highly recommend this beautiful eatery with such a tranquil vibe situated on the hillside.

Excellent bread
Simply the best croissants and pains aux chocolat I’ve had in Ecuador. The bread is very good too. The breakfast restaurant attached, on the other hand, is good, but not particularly noteworthy. It is also quite expensive for what you get. This doesn’t apply to the bakery proper, which is good value.
We love this place!! The view is amazing and the food are just expectational!!
Hay Pan!: great bread and great pastry, but the sandwiches are the best (followed by the onion soup). If you want to try an amazing vegetarian sandwich ask for El Montañes, you will have a hard time finding something better.

Best bakery in Quito. Ran by a French chef, whatever you buy here is just a piece of art. Give the muesli bread a chance, you won't regret it. Prices are fine once you realize the quality of their products.
