The Mang House is a comfortable, affordable, location located on a lagoon with a short walk to the beach. From the fluffy down pillows to the fully stocked kitchen the attention to detail is apparent. Matteo is a consumate host who will take care of your every need and is super capable of turning up your fun dial from the best places to surf and dive, to horseback riding in the jungle. Highly recommended!!

Lovely place with great hospitality. Great position close to shops and restaurants. 100m to beach. Great shower and bed and hammocks outside the room. Fantastic beach and walks into the jungle. Only slight downside is that there is a lot of rooster squawking and dog barking through day and night - so bring your earplugs! Otherwise a great place for a relaxing stay close to nature
Mango House is the place to stay in Ayampe. Matt, the owner, lives next door and he is the king of hospitality. He went above and beyond to made sure we were comfortable and having fun. He arranged taxis, found us a yoga teacher and constantly made us laugh. When I return to Ayampe I will definitely stay at Mango House or Matt’s other property Vistamar. Thanks Matt!!!
You should inquire. Host is a super cool, well-connected dude. The place is affordable and very accommodating. There are only 3 rooms total so it feels private if you book 2 of them. The kitchen is huge and has a blender, toaster, and most things you’ll need. The rooms are so clean and cleaned every day. It’s not beach front but a super short walk to the beach and everywhere else.
Mango house is stunning! I love this place, the kitchen is perfect, each room is immaculate and well equipped. The design is gorgeous and has the most insane view on the roof. The location is perfect on a nice quiet side of the town, and only a 2minute walk to everything including the beach. Matteo is the epitome of the perfect host, organizing anything you could imagine and always friendly and willing to help make you stay more enjoyable. I couldn’t say enough good things about Mango house and Matteo!
We love the Mango House! It is a great location to enjoy nature, the beach and get a taste of being in a cool little village. Plus the rooms are comfortable and the staff is helpful. Good wifi too!
Don’t hesitate! This place made the magic of ayampe for us. Comfortable, super clean and good vibes. Worth every penny and highly recommend
The mango house is an amazing place to stay!! And Matteo, the owner is the nicest and more convenient host that you could hope for! He can also rent you some surf, tell you the nicest spot to visit and give you surf lessons!! Our stay at the mango house was the best part of our trip in Ecuador!! Thank you again Matteo we’ll see you again for sure!!
